While driving down a dirt road in Kruger National Park, our guide saw a warthog behaving oddly. He quickly stopped our truck and spotted this large male leopard laying in the edge of the road stalking the warthog. We watched holding our breath as he slowly made his way closer to the warthog. The unsuccessful chase (for the Leopard) that soon followed was the most amazing thing I’d ever seen. I took this image of him returning from the chase as he disappeared into the thick bush. I don’t think I’ve ever held my breath so long…
