Photo of the Week 2013 #13

My little girl is turning 5 years old. Every year we do a special photo shoot, (well actually several). This year we decided to shoot outdoors instead of the traditional studio shoot. I’ve been wanting to shoot in the scrub brush that is native to the Northeast because it is so different from anywhere I’ve lived. We found this little place that was perfect to shoot not too far from our house. I set up my flash, tethered, off camera at a 45 degree angle from her, and about the same distance as the camera. Posing and expression was all her, it may have been the 20,000 or so pictures I’ve taken of her over the last 5 years, but I think she might be a natural.
