Growing up as a kid I watched Sesame Street like most, and like many others children, I LOVED Kermit the Frog. I don’t know what it was about him that I liked so much. I don’t think it was his color (since my favorite is blue), his singing or his voice necessarily, I just liked him. I had a Kermit cup, a Kermit Clein t-shirt, I even introduced myself as Kermit at my school’s ‘handshake’ at the beginning of my freshman year (what can I say, Freshmen). I had have a Kermit puppet (seen here) and a Kermit swirly straw that my daughter still uses. He’s just always been and probably will be my favorite Muppet.
