Photo of the Week 2014 #37

During week leading up to September 11 in Prescott Valley, Arizona, 3000 American Flags were setup at the Prescott Valley Healing Field of Northern Arizona. The tribute is put on by the Colonial Flag Foundation. The sight of so many flags lined up blowing in the wind was very sobering, and to read the name cards attached to each, telling about each of the victims really made the tribute special. It was very special to be able to share this with my daughter, there were 8 children who died in the attacks and a teddy bear marked each one. Other flags had Military and Firefighter boots in memory of their service.
