This morning on my way back from church I saw a man who, I quickly learned, is named Humberto. I’ve seen him various times in various places all over town and I never have my camera with me when I do. So today I had my camera with me so I stopped to talk to him. He had a large bucket full of corn kernels that he tossed over the patio in the park to feed the pigeons. They swooped in and devoured the mid day snack. A little while later once they had had their fill and were off perched on the local rooftops, Humberto called to them and poured out a bucketful of water. Again they descended upon the park, he just smiled an continued to talk as he had been since my arrival.
