Yesterday I went to the GORJ Biotec Farm in Cariré, Ceará with Mateus Ferreira, Journalism student and reporter for the SobralNews.com.br news site. The farm is a biotechnology laboratory working with bovine in vitro fertilization. It is currently the only laboratory functioning in Ceará. It is also gaining a strong reputation in Brazil as one of the best. Veterinary Medicine student Matheus Vasconcelos brands a cow for later identification in the in vitro process.
