In an effort to put together a guide to use for some upcoming photography classes, I photographed Rita to demonstrate different styles of lighting. This image illustrates Butterfly Light, I used a 24″ soft-box directly in front of her, angled down giving her a slight shadow under her nose, and to fill in the shadows I placed a 36″silver reflector resting in her lap.
