Looking through my archives I came across this vibrant image taken on a camping trip in the San Bernardino mountains. Some friends and I had been out on dirt bikes and 4-wheelers and just before sunset came across this hillside covered with wild lavender that had grown up through the burnt underbrush and trees from a recent wildfire.
