We continued our North Eastern tour of Arizona by driving through the Painted Desert. And again another beautiful location. When we arrived it was really hot and sunny, but as we traveled through the park to the south we got closer to the monsoons. This was one of the prettiest locations in the park in my opinion. I loved the colored stripes in the mountains and the yellow green scrub brush growing in the near-white sand set against the dark blue of the oncoming storm.
