Yesterday the World Cup 2014 started with Brazil facing off against Croatia. I watched each half of the game in a different place, spending time with different people here in the city of Sobral. It was very fun to watch the game surrounded with such enthusiastic people. There was excitement with each shot, foul or goal. For those that didn’t watch, Brazil won 3-1 and the cheers and fireworks were heard though out the city.
