This last weekend we took our dog Brody a Schnauzer to the beach up in Camocim, Ceará. It is one of the closest beaches to us, and there is never anyone there. At low tide it is a very quiet beach with the waves beginning to grow as the tide comes in. We weren’t too sure how he would react to the waves and the water, but after a nice picnic on a little sand bar, he took off swimming back to shore! He would swim to us 15 yards out in the ocean, his little paws paddling as hard as they could. It was the cutest thing. He slept curled up on the back seat the whole way home, and slept well that night.
