Photo of the Week 2014 #43

This weekend, we did our annual October photo shoot of Audrey. It has become a tradition as at the beginning of the month Audrey has her half birthday, and the end of the month is Halloween (so look for that picture next Friday on Halloween). During the photo shoot, Brody was sitting patiently off to the side watching. After Audrey and I had taken all the poses we wanted to get, we called Brody on to the set. He was a very good little model and actually stayed in one spot for several images.
On a technical note, I really liked how my new 60″ Octobox performed, it was the first time I had used it in a studio environment. The light is so soft and just wraps around the subject (especially in this case because it is many times bigger than Brody). I did use a 20″ soft box on the side only to separate the subject from the background a bit and to give a little highlight on one edge.
