We spent the weekend in a small town called Planalmira, Goiás at The Instituto Adventist Brasil Central, a very beautiful Adventist Academy where my wife’s cousin lives and works. I was out one afternoon taking pictures of the many different kinds of birds when I finally saw this big Red-Legged Seriema walking across an old cornfield. I don’t know how his feather on his back got so ruffled, but I think it matches the ones on his head rather well.
