After living just 2 hours from one of the most famous beaches in Brazil for nearly 5 years, we finally made the trek to Jericoacoara. You have to transfer to a 4×4 to enter the National Park, as the last 10 km to the town is through the sand dunes. We arrived just before sunset and followed the majority of the city out to the top of the “Duna do Pôr do Sol” or Sunset Dune which drops into the ocean below, to watch the sun set. Audrey and Brody had fun running back and forth.
